Click the post for details on this episode!

Today we have a special episode of Open House, featuring exclusive sets by a few of my favorite DJs from south of the border. First up is Aivan… His passion for electronic music led Aivan to promote international artists in the city of Queretaro. This is how I linked up with him – during my travels through Mexico. After surrounding himself with people who share similar taste, Aivan became interested in DJing as well. His sets have techno and house woven throughout, and take listeners on a journey. Strap in…

I’m pleased to close out the program with a special 30 minute exclusive bonus mix by another solid DJ out of Mexico. Rodrigo Leal (from Monterrey) started to compose electronic music at the age of 14, it was around that time he started to explore the world of mixing. In the past 7 years, he had held residencies at most of the exclusive clubs in Monterrey, such as Cafe Iguana, Royal Club, A:M Social Club, and his most recent residency on Hotel Habita. (2010), and traveling with some dates around Mexico. With his hiper-active personality, He has shared the decks with some of the finest artist in electronic music – Dave Seaman, David Guetta, Chris Fortier, James Zabiela, Miss Nine, Sandra Collins, M.A.N.D.Y., Eskimo, and yours truly – me!
